Our ordered PCB has arrived from manufacturing!
We have already soldered in everything.
Here are two pictures of received and “dressed” PCBs from the front and from the rear.
We have great hopes for working with them! Hopefully the written program, made with the prototype and tested on it, could run smoothly on this panel. For now, it seems, yes.
We will continue to work at a higher pace compared to the previous. We strive to be as much as possible at BME so that Levente Dudás can help us with his advices during the coding process. The optimization is a huge task in order to make the code able to run on ATMega328PB with ease due to a relatively small available RAM.
At this moment, a simple box (which doesn’t open) designed for testing is underway. This will be printed from PLA, since the plastic is also able to endure the test conditions (first in the lab are different tests, then terrain test).
This simple box made of glass fiber can also be a plan B for the competition.
The next meeting will be on 19th and 20th April. This time we will be working mostly on electronics and programming. We reconcile work at home in the meeting.
Due to our many tasks in the upcoming period we will check in with reports less frequently, the meeting reports will be more recapitulatory.
