We have known traditional forms of learning, but we also have learned a lot autodidactically.
In this case, the novelty was to start a new project together.
The project was successfully completed in June 2017. Actually we did a BEXUS project.
More details can be found at the Rexus/Bexus page or at the corresponding page of ESA.
More information about our balloon project can be found (the posts are in Hungarian) on the Piaristák az Űrben Facebook page. Several newspapers, news sites and televisions contacted us regarding to this project.

In the fall of 2017, we started a new project: we decided to build a mini-satellite.
We wriote reports about this project from time to time on this page and on our Facebook page as well.

As we started on the ESA CanSat Competition we have set new goals for ourselves.
– We wanted to become a better team: we are a small team and we were facing a hard project, but we divided every task well and solved them together.
– After the previous project we basically knew our strengths and weaknesses: we would like to know them even more.
– Of course we wanted to do the best in the competition! We are very proud of our special prize.
The biggest tasks were the analyzation of RF spectrum, a well-functioning telecommand, and the implementation of targeted landing. Both spectrum analyzation and targeted landing are pioneering, innovative things: on one hand, the intensity of unnecessarily emitted electromagnetic waves could be reduced in the future after proper measurements, and we consider the targeted landing the first step in bringing back minisatellites to Earth from their orbital trajectory, which means less space debris.
– It was also important for us to look for, find, and help the successors.
We are delighted to find 5 teams for the 2019 competition as a result of our promotional work. Finally, GRLSat became the winner, so they can represent our country in the summer of 2019 at the ESA competition. Congratulations to them! We try to help their work in everything.

The past of our team: Our team consisted of secondary school students (we are now university students) from Budapest interested in natural sciences and engineering, who in the fall of 2016 decided to do something new.
